New HP's CEO - good or bad choice?
by Zivka Deleva

Nothing new at the Hewlett-Packard Co. these days. Though the company has a new management, its Chief Executive still hasn't succeed that he is the best choice for one of the best U.S. companies. Leo Apotheker had called the investors to show more interest in the company he is leading, after the shares have decreased for some 3.4 percent. So, Wall Street wasn't the best place for HP's officials to be these few days. After all the controversial over the hiring of Apotheker. This man has a big luggage behind him. He is an experienced salesman multilingual one and decided that the company doesn't need big changes. According to him, HP is a healthy company with good managers. ! It seems like Wall Street expected more from Apotheker, having the need to compare him with his predecessor Marc Hurd, that always made more encouraging steps. Economic analysts find that investors might need some more time to get to know this new man better, because it is normal for the business people to gain a new trust again. Besides Apotheker, the companies board suggested five more candidates for the working post, but Mr.Apotheker has been the favorite one. No one would resign a CEO place if something is wrong. Hurd left the comfortable seat two months ago after a scandal involving a female contractor showed. Before HP, Apotheker had been working in German's SAP, but got fired. Now, everybody concerned with the choice, is wondering whether such a man would be the best choice for the company. But, as always, it stays to the time to prove whether this dilemma is justified or not.
